ALMIS International is a privately owned company with headquarters in the UK.
ALMIS International specialise in the delivery and support of balance sheet management, financial analysis and risk modelling for banking institutions.
Our aim is to develop and deliver tailored, quick to install, easy to use and cost-effective information solutions for balance sheet management.
History
- 1992: First installation at a UK Building Society, to calculate balance sheet interest rate risk
- 1995: Launch of financial planning wizard, enabling banks to develop income and balance sheet forecasts
- 1996: First overseas client in Mexico City
- 1998: Increased speed of system by introducing a 32 bit compiler and multi-threading
- 2001: £200bn Financial Assets being managed on ALMIS software
- 2003: Launch of our first Capital Adequacy Module
- 2005: The introduction of our Hedge Accounting Module meeting the requirements of IFRS IAS 39 portfolio hedge accounting
- 2008: ALMIS Hedge Accounting Module approved by all big four firms
- 2009: Launch of our Liquidity Stress Module to help banks comply with the new FSA Strengthening Liquidity Requirements
- 2010: FSA / Regulatory Reporting module released
- 2011: New Capital Adequacy Module launched
- 2011: New Customisable Report Writer launched
